The Real Cause Of Swine Flu

Posted by Michael

April 28th, 2009 by Baba Ganoush

“The Daily Show” blamed the origin of the Swine Flu on Mexico, and someone having sex with a turkey club sandwich, but this looks to be the real origin of the Swine Flu. When all else fails, blame the children!

Tips on What to Write About

Posted by Michael

To set up and run a blog involves a minimum of commitment. You will have to post something meaningful on a regular basis and the best is to post at least a couple of times each week. If you don’t, readers will be less interested in visiting your blog, and you might end up just writing with yourself as the only reader.

However at one time or an other, most bloggers faces the problem, getting less and less ideas on what to write about on their blog.

If that should happen to you too, here is some tips on how to get fresh ideas to fill your blog with great content.

  • Find and read what other bloggers related to your main topic are writing about. Then try to catch the ideas and subject they uses. Do not just copy their content though, but add your own opinion, so that you provide real value to your readers. Perhaps even to the ones you are following your self.
  • Ask your readers what they would like you to write about. Then write a series of articles on the subjects they have chosen.
  • Visit the library or go to a bookstore. Open any best selling book related to your topic, and see if you will get some new ideas.
  • Even though I advise against writing just for the sake of posting something, you could blog about what you intend to do today, or what you have done. A little from your daily living every now and then will make your blog more personal, and your readers will get a feeling of knowing you better.
  • Now a days almost everyone has a camera of some kind. If not a ‘real’ one, then perhaps one integrated into a cellphone. If you got some kind of camera, you could take the day off from writing, and go for a walk or perhaps a short trip, taking a lot of shots and post those on your blog.
  • Since I’m into Internet Marketing, my last suggestion is almost to be expected: You could write a review of a product of your choice, and that way you might be able to earn some money while blogging.

You might post every so often, and even provide first class content, but if no one ever visit your blog, it has no real purpose, has it?

To blog is to join a community, and in order to gain success you will have to mingle with your ‘neighbors’. To get results you have to give something in return.

What you will need to do, is to visit other peoples blogs, read their postings and comment on them to show interest, but also to show the world you too are out there.

Do not just write any comment, or it might very well be considered as spam and never be published. Make it have some kind of value to the blog you are visiting..Contribute further to the subject of the post or perhaps just in a few words, tell the author that you liked the post or article.

By visit other peoples blogs and make comments to their postings, in most cases you are able to leave a link back to your own site. If you make some interesting comments, it is most likely others will visit your site and do the same.

At my blogs, I use a plugin that remove the nofollow attribute. In short, that makes your links visible to the search engines, so that leaving a comment to my postings, will even get you a live backlink.

When you get your first blog set up and ready, do not thread it as set in stone. You should go back and switch things around, do some updates and re-comment on the comments if any.

You could also re-write some of the postings and make sure everything is perfect before you go public.

I also recommend that you begin posting at your blog at least a month before you go live. This way you will build credibility and a stable readership before you really face the public.

Do not write just for the sake of complaining. Blogging is your chance to get your voice heard and to speak your mind.

That does however, not mean that you should use your blog just to complain about everything and anything. The TV program, your breakfast, your salary. Blah blah blah…

Try instead to find a niche and to stay with that niche. Do not just whine about this and that. Find a niche that interest you and write everything about that subject that comes into your mind.

Music, movies, computers, sport, or perhaps marketing. Pick your own favorite and stick to that  niche only, and you will be more certain that readers actually will follow you.

The Income Cloner Scam

Posted by Michael

Product Overall

From The Free Dictionary:
scam:
n. a fraudulent business scheme; a swindle.
tr.v. scammed, scam·ming, scams ; To defraud; swindle.

Today the word scam is being used in so many very different situations, the original meaning of the word has almost been forgotten.

So many opportunities and programs, even lucrative, professional and very legal companies has often seen them selves cried out as being scams.

Just because you do not make it, for what ever reason, it doesn’t necessarily mean the opportunity is a scam. It might very well be you, not complying to the concept, or not fully understanding what you have signed up to.

Of the same reasons I am personally very careful not to call wolf, before I actually have seen one with my own eyes.

Not many others seems to do so, but my business concept is to actually buy the product, before I write the review. And trust me; I’ve seen plenty to judge the good from bad and the ugly.

Recently I was presented to a program called Income Cloner by Charles Ryder. From a very reasonable sales page he offer you his first of 12 DVD’s for ‘free’. You only have to pay the shipping costs.

With that said:

Do Not Buy Income Cloner by Charles Ryder !

I did and to call this ‘product’ a scam is not to much. Never before have I paid that much money for such outright piece of crap.

From his website, Charles Ryder offer you a free 1 hour DVD on which he claims to have put together his secrets on getting rich on the Internet. By signing up, you are automatically signed into his so called ‘Millionaire DVD of the Month Club’, that are supposed to reveal to you how you can make gazillions on the Internet in less than a year.

This is where he’s making the money, as this membership comes with a $97 monthly fee to be charged from your credit card before the second DVD are to be shipped.

Pay close attention to this: You are automatically enrolled into this club, and your credit card is automatically lifted for $97 every month if you do not immediately cancel your subscription.

As I do not judge a product based upon a free sample, I stayed with his so called ‘exclusive’ club for 4 month, far long enough to find out what totally crap this man try to sell you.

The ‘product’ comes with a 30 days money back guarantee. So sadly, I also stayed  far to long to try to get my money back.

As a member of his ‘exclusive’ club, all I have ever received has been tons of the exact same sale offers as I have received from all other marketers. I say, that’s very exclusive or..? Oh yes, and of course the monthly DVD, where he is supposed to be my personal mentor and reveal secrets that should make me able to make thousands within a year.

Let me tell you, that the content of the first DVD (the free one, remember?) was so dreadful boring that I fell a sleep several time during the show. I had to start all over several times to ensure my self, it was not me being very tired, but the DVD actually being totally junk.

When I finally had seen it through without falling a sleep, I decided to give the club a try for the next month DVD. After all I got the first one for free, and the content could be meant as a sort of appetizer. To me it sure wasn’t, but never the less, I chose to give the man a second chance.

A month past by before the next DVD showed up in my mailbox. I have to say, I wasn’t to eager to see it, so I forgot about it almost a full month. If I had watched it through when it arrived, it might had saved me for an other $97. Sadly I didn’t, because the content of the next 2 DVD’s I received was no different from the first. Absolutely crap.

At the DVD’s Charles Ryder pose in front of a camera, sitting (if you can call that to sit) in a chair in what seems to be a very cheap hotel room, with very bad light conditions. His ‘mentoring’ is what I would call babbling noise. He do nothing but glorifying him self and even constantly repeating him self over and over and……

I have no doubt that Charles can make very good money of this stunt of his. The marketing behind the ‘product’ is very professionally and clever set up. But when it comes to learn you how to clone him, the $97 a month ‘course’ is nothing but an outright scam.

If there’s anything funny about this ‘product’, it might be that Charles seems to be well aware, it is not worth the money. When I finally got enough and tried to cancel my membership (you have to do so by phone or snail mail), I was immediately offered the whole 12 month course for only $27 a month. That’s $70 a month off the price. I must say! I’m stunned!

I do never again buy anything from Charles Ryder!

Almost every time you read an article on how to make money from a blog, one of the first word your eye will catch is the word ‘AdSense’.

Most authors almost immediately tell you just to sign up with Google AdSense, copy and paste some code to your site and start making money.

What they do not tell you is, that it is no way that easy.

First of all; no matter how many different kind of advertises, no matter how good they might be, they will make you no money if you can’t get visitors to your site. Without traffic – No money! From AdSense or any other kind of advertising.

And then AdSense:
Do not believe for one second, that you can just set up a quick blog with one of the default themes on blogger.com or the like. Not even if set up with your own domain name on a cheap hosting account.

Google is a very serious company, making tons of money from advertising. To be able to do so, they have to protect their paying customers from their advertises being displayed (and clicked on) at completely useless places such as a meaningless blog, or on what is really just a sales letter.

Don’t get me wrong though: There is nothing wrong with a free blog or with a cheap hosting. But do not try to apply for AdSense and expect to be accepted, without doing your homework first, or it will be rejected for sure.

To get accepted into Goggles AdSense program:

  1. Do not apply with a site or blog that is still under construction.
  2. Do not set up just a pure sells site.
  3. Offer the readers some valuable content.
  4. Set up a presentable site, with not too many flashing banners, animations, pictures, etc.
  5. Avoid pop-ups. If you want to make use of pop-up, limit it to a single or two.
  6. Be certain that your site has no broken links.
  7. Create about 10 – 15 pages before applying.

10 – 15 pages may sound a lot, but if you are out of ideas what to write, you might be able to pick up some inspiration visiting some article directories.

Once you have a nice looking blog or site, with plenty of interesting content, and you are sure there’s no broken links, then you can apply for a web publisher account with Google and hope to get approved.

If you are in need of ideas of content to your website or blog, you can try at places like:

http://www.ezinearticles.com
http://buildinganonline.biz/presents/affsphere
http://www.goarticles.com
http://www.submityourarticle.com
http://www.ideamarketers.com

If you want more options, just make a Yahoo or Google search on ‘article directories’ and plenty possibilities will show up.
